What is the job?
Searching for an opportunity that just adds up? We’re looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Cost Controller to coordinate or assist in the purchasing, receiving, storage, and/or dispensing of food and/or non-food items to meet the needs of the various departments and functions.
Your day to day
This role will be responsible for ensuring that adequate controls are in place to;
• Ensure the complete and accurate accounting of revenues and expenses. You will
• Uphold report on efficient purchasing practices that eliminate wasteful spend and ensure that all revenues reported are complete. The function will ensure that responsibility is taken for the beverage cost expense line. You will support the department heads and report to the Director of Dining & Entertainment.
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team members who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations & provide a high-level of service excellence to our resort guests. Our ideal candidate will:
- analyze daily void report, review revenue totals & any revenue adjustments, perform monthly beverage stock take and generate beverage variance report.
- You will have 4 years’ experience in hotel accounting or operations, or a combination of both and a tertiary qualification in a commerce related field of study. You must be proficient with computer systems, particularly purchasing software and MS Office.
