What is the job?
The Area Director of Finance & Business Development is a regional role based at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa and supports Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva, Holiday Inn Suva and Holiday Inn Resort, Vanuatu.
Your day to day
The successful incumbent must be comfortable with balancing the books when it comes to managing the needs of owners, auditors and regulatory agencies while also monitoring and improving hotel profitability of the respective properties. In return, we’ll put our financial operations and the security of our hotel assets in your expert hands.
What we need from you
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team members who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations & provide a high-level of service excellence to our resort guests. To qualify for this role, you must have at least 5 – 8 years’ experience as Director of Finance & Business Development or equivalent in a leading hotel chain brand, with a Degree or equivalent international qualification in Accounting and Finance and coupled with strong leadership skills. Preferably a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), excellent knowledge of hotel accounting software and sound business acumen.
