The Ancillary Services Officer oversees the sales marketing and customer proposition for the airline’s ancillary products including but not limited to Holidays, Excess Baggage, Insurance, Belama Club and supports development of other products. They also manage customer contact points outside of the airline’s main sales channels including email and social media, working closely with the broader marketing function to grow awareness and knowledge of airline products and services. The Ancillary Services Officer manages relationships with third party service providers relative to ancillary services and, assists customers by leveraging detailed product knowledge of ancillary services and local products, to support customer travel decisions.


  • Responsible for development and management of ancillary products and services outside of the airline’s core airfare and cargo offering
  • Responsible for servicing of passengers via online touchpoints including email and social media, providing support and facilitating bookings as necessary to support the growth of ancillary channels and programs
  • Respond to customer queries and assist to provide solution to customer requests as needed; promoting and growing use of airline digital touchpoints
  • Responsible for liaison with third party suppliers including but not limited to tourism industry suppliers such as accommodation, transfer and activity or experience providers, catering providers, and other ancillary product providers, to grow revenue and ancillary product and service opportunities
  • Responsible for ensuring that terms & conditions of both the airline and ancillary programs are advised to customer
  • Responsible for overseeing ancillary service bookings and managing the receipt and processing of payments from ancillary programs as necessary
  • Responsible for overseeing Holidays Reservations and Belama Club



  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing role, including responsibility for e communication channels such as social media
  • Previous experience with Amadeus Reservations System is essential
  • An overall understanding on how an airline should operate efficiently
  • An overall understanding of the local tourism industry and operations


  • Diploma level in a relevant field
