Job Overview
Summary of Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
- Designing and developing high-quality software solutions using industry best practices
- Developing, maintaining, and supporting our critical software applications
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and reliability of applications
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze user requirements
- Providing technical guidance and support to team members
- Participating in system integration and deployment activities
- Ensuring adherence to software development standards and practices
- Keeping up to date with emerging technologies and recommending improvements
- Assist the Business Analyst in integration and acceptance testing support in the development of training and implementation of data relevant to business needs
- Ensure and share knowledge with team members with Navision support, IPS, Post, POS, and E-Commerce
- Follow appropriate departmental and company procedures and policies, i.e. change control, security and auditing, release, configuration, problem, and incident management
- Document the enhancement recommendations from project managers and business stakeholders and evaluate website design and functionality
- Contribute to the planning of application/ infrastructure releases and configuration changes
- Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Analyst Programmer or similar role
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience with database management systems, such as Oracle or MySQL
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., SQL queries, Java Programming, C++, C#, VB.NET, Angular, React)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a team
