Monier Limited the single largest producer, supplier and distributor or construction materials and building products in PNG is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and highly motivated individual for the following position:
Allocator, Supply Chain (Quarries)
Excel in the delivery of products, to customers, clients on a timely manner, according to Monier’s Terms and Condition of supply.
Duties Include:
- Identifying and delivering flexible, effective allocation models and service opportunities.
- Developing and fostering effective intra/intercompany relationships.
- Ensuring timely and accurate customer communications are aligned with effective allocations to meet customer expectations.
- Forward planning to provide efficient and effective logistics and resource allocation.
- Facilitating order fulfillment through effective order scheduling to maximise volume, profitability, and customer service.
- Ensuring key customers have service expectations consistently met and identifying additional sales and service opportunities.
- Continuously improving customer service delivery.
- Keeping customers informed.
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in allocations/scheduling.
- Previous logistics experience including chain of responsibility, fatigue management, and mass management knowledge.
- Tipper transport exposure an advantage
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the transport or construction industry
- Able to work long hours and weekends
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of all Monier Products
- Computer literate
- Good knowledge of Pom City routes
- Quick thinker and problem solver
