Quest Suva is inviting applications from qualified, dedicated and experienced personnel for the position of “ACCOUNTANT” which will be based in Suva, Fiji.


Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager-Quest Suva, this position will focus on performing the financial functions of the business and ensuring compliance with all statutory and board responsibilities.  The successful applicant will ensure the diligent application of the Quest Business Format Franchise system and will provide support to the Manager toward achieving the business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Responsible for Financial performance including timely revenue and expenses management.

2.     Preparation of all financial reports and General Ledger reconciliations.

3.     Processing of payroll and administration of employee benefits.

4.     Liaise with External stakeholders for regulatory and statutory compliance matters.

5.     Manage Franchise Obligations.

6.     Manage back office Systems including postings and upload of timely stats etc.


Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

1.       Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting & Finance/Management/Information System.

2.       At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in the hotel industry will be an added advantage.

3.       Knowledge and experience with Accounting Software.

4.       Good knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and standards.

5.       Highly proficient in the preparation of financial statements.



1.       Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

2.       Strong analytical and numerical skills.

3.       Demonstrated knowledge and experience in written, oral and interpersonal communications.
