WORK PERMIT & VISA COORDINATOR
The HR Expat Personnel (EXPO) now Personnel Services is undergoing changes within its department and is looking for a suitable candidate to fill this vacant position.
PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this role is to serve as the primary point of contact for all PNG Visa, Work Permit and Passport inquiries and process for SIL-PNG.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: The Work Permit & Visa Coordinator will report directly to the Personnel Service Operations Supervisor.
The successful candidate must be well versed in a cross- cultural communication and work environment, proficient in PNG Immigration and Citizenship Services Authority (ICSA) policies and procedures, task-oriented, and proactive to meet limited supervisor oversight.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in HR, International relations or a related field
Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe, and Google Applications.
2-3 years’ working experience in similar role with demonstrated capacity to work effectively and productively with minimum supervision within a team environment
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Knowledgeable in the PNG Immigration and Labor Industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational and time – management skills , with the ability to multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Good interpersonal skills and good decision making skills
