WELDER/FABRICATOR CADET

operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, a 34-cabin cruise vessel, a modern sailing catamaran, several
speed boats, and tender boats as well as Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.
We are currently seeking to recruit a motivated cadet to assist in a varied role in our busy workshop to be
positioned at our Port Denarau Marina Workshop reporting to the Company Chief Engineer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Primarily employed to work as an assistant to our welder/fabricator to set up equipment and welding
preparation but will be required to assist with other engineering duties.
• Prior experience of use of electric hand tools working with steel and or aluminium preferred but not
essential
• Be punctual, able to follow instructions and willing to work after hours and weekends when required.
• Initial term of internship will be three months and suitability assessed during this period.
• Permanent position and further training will become available for a cadet showing outstanding attitude
and attributes.
• Ensure that all safety procedures and regulations are complied with, including periodic checks on
equipment.
