Cafe Vila and Three Pigs are two of the most popular dining spots in Port Vila, offering a unique mix of delicious cuisine and warm hospitality.
We are seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our Front of House team, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
WAITER / CASHIER
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Present the menu and explain the items on the menu
- Take and relay food and drink orders accurately to the kitchen and bar
- Provide courteous and quick service to meet customers’ needs during their dining experience
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Process payments and manage cash transactions
- Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth service
- Ensure that the dining area is always clean and presents well.
BARTENDER
- Provide customers with beverages throughout their stay in the restaurant
- Have good knowledge of what is stocked in the bar
- Have good knowledge of making a variety of cocktails
- Maintain and control the stock of key ingredients and beverages
- Keep bar space organised to prevent clutter
- Wash glassware or other dishes to meet the needs of the service
- Interact with customers to ensure they have a pleasant experience at the bar.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Waiter or Restaurant Cashier or Bartender
- Understand and speak good English
- Experience using POS systems preferred
- Able to communicate well with customers
- Eager to learn and take directions from the Manage
- Able to work quickly in a busy restaurant or bar
- Able to work well with the restaurant tea
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
