The position will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s Head Office, Suva and will report to the Team Leader Tender & Contracts Management.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and update Tender Register and all tender correspondence;
    • Responsible for obtaining local and overseas quotations for both stock & non stock items  and comply with EFL policy and governance;
    • Good understanding of EFL’s procurement and tender policy
    • Follow up with local and overseas suppliers for all outstanding orders and timely delivery of goods;
    • Assist with the dispatching of award letters to successful bidders;
    • Follow-up contract with Suppliers (local and overseas) and also with the internal stakeholders;
    • Coordinate the preparation of Contracts
    • Prepare requisition forms for stock and non-stock items and follow-up
    • Assist and organize bookings for Accommodation, local and overseas Travel for EFL Staff;
    • Provide daily or monthly reporting to the Team Leader;
    • Participate in quarterly stock take organized by Manager Supply Chain
    • Perform financial/economic analysis/evaluation as and when required
    • Comply with all the relevant laws;
    • Collaboration with key Suppliers;
    • Assist with any other duties assigned by the Superiors.

Key Requirements:

    • A Degree or Diploma in Business Studies, Accounting or Supply Chain Management from a recognized institution;
    • At least one (1) year of relevant work experience in Contract Management, tenders and Supply Chain Management;
    • Must be Innovative and a good Team Player
    • Should have good Communication and Negotiation skills;
    • Must be Computer literate;
    • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
