Based in Port Moresby and reporting to the Senior Manager Payments. The successful incumbent will be responsible to drive and manage the technical Swift ISO execution team, to ensure the documentation, implementation, and support of technology solutions, preparing, environment readiness, and completion of all the assigned documentation on time.
Key Deliverables:
- Lead the technical execution team, and manage the assigned portfolio’s deliverables.
- Make sure all the technical standards, best practices, and methodologies across the project/program life cycle.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of technical processes, solution approaches, requirement documentation, standard and delivery related.
- Initiate, review, document, and consolidate the functional specifications, design specifications, code review & guiding, and other requirement and solution documentation.
- Foster and maintain relationships with Key IT Stakeholders, Business Stakeholders and with partner and third party suppliers.
- Environment and dependency management.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to analyse and understand their processes, requirements, and challenges.
- Identify and mitigate, report and escalation technical risks, issues associated with each initiative, proactively resolving challenges to minimize disruptions.
- Oversee and execution of the technical aspects of deliverable with the Delivery Portfolio, and scope from initiation to completion.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring to the teams and lead by example.
- Ensure effective working with the Project Manager, Program Managers and the business owners to develop project deliverables that meet the business need.
- Ability to work with teams across time zones and the role may require working late evening hours.
Essential Qualifications, Professional/Skills and Experience:
- University Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
- Experience in managing application systems, technical systems and channels.
- Strong experience in IT project delivery, IT process implementation and IT process management.
- Experience delivering large-scale technology changes.
- Minimum 5 Years’ Industry Experience.
