The position will be based at the Energy Fiji Limited’s National Control Centre (NCC), Vuda and will report to the Team Leader Operations Planning.
Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible to the Switching Coordinator for preparation of switching programs. Also responsible for updating of annual maintenance plans for all Generation and Network assets;

- Prepare switching programs to enable maintenance work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures at minimum costs and interruption;

- Carry out analysis for release of Distribution network and generators;
-
- Prepare and monitor annual maintenance plans for all generation and Network assets;
-
- Prepare commissioning programs for all Generation, Network and Communication elements;
-
- Audit Permit to work , Permit to Test , Reclose block permits and Vegetation permits

- Maintain maintenance performance and generate reports;

- Should be prepared to undertake other studies in order to maintain Knowledge of current practices in System Control;

- Prepare and generate Breakdown of HV Supply reports;

- Carry out other duties as assigned by Switching Co-coordinator.
Key Requirements:
-
- A Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Tertiary Institution and have at least three (3) years of appropriate professional experience in an electrical utility;
-
- Must also be proficient in English, computer literate and able to prepare technical reports;

- Must also have a thorough operational knowledge of generation, transmission, distribution, protection & control equipment and SCADA;

- A valid full Group two (2) Driving License will be an added advantage.
