We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual in the role of Store Manager to join our Sales Consumer Team based at Suva, reporting to the Regional Consumer Sales Manager
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall store management to achieve optimum sales.
- Develop strategies to expand store traffic and optimize profitability.
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff.
- Ensure high levels of customer’s satisfaction through excellent service.
- Drive revenue through new and innovative ideas to achieve set store targets.
- Ensure compliance with set procedures for sale and cash balancing.
- Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Continuously coaching and developing to upskill store employees for high performance.
- Ensures availability of merchandise and services at all times and ordering stock as required.
- Address all customer complaints and staff grievances and escalate to your line manager.
Academic qualifications, Experience & Skill a required for this role:
- A tertiary qualification in business, sales or marketing is preferred but not essential;
- At least 3-4 years’ experience as a Store Manager in a mid to large organization.
- Prior experience in assisting with marketing new products or services
- Sound knowledge of retail store operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Great customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience-leading teams with successful outcomes.
- Computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
