Sous Chef
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present high-end dishes with a focus on fresh, local ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning, food costing, and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to uphold consistency and quality.
- Support the Head Chef in training and mentoring junior staff.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role.
- Culinary certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
