Tourism Fiji is looking for a Social Media Officer to join our team in Nadi. We market Fiji as a premier global travel destination, and our social media channels are essential to inspiring travelers to choose Fiji for their next getaway.

We are searching for a digitally savvy, consumer-focused professional to bring fresh ideas and energy to our Global Marketing team as a Social Media Officer. This role is based in Nadi, Fiji, and will give you a unique opportunity to contribute to an international marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Implement Tourism Fiji’s global social media plan alongside the Head of Digital and Digital Marketing Manager
• Assist with scheduling, community management, and social media reporting
• Write social media captions, and curate photos and videos for various platforms
• Collaborate with the in-house graphic team and content creators to deliver ready-to-publish content
• Prepare reports and updates for the organisation and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing with at least 1 year of experience managing social media channels for a business or organisation
• Excellent written English and experience with content creation for a global audience
• Passion for promoting Fiji as a travel destination
• High attention to detail and a strong team player
• Quick learner with experience across digital platforms
• Eager to develop in a supportive and innovative work environment

This position is based at Tourism Fiji’s head office in Nadi, with working hours from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon–Thu) and up to 4:00 PM on Fridays. Occasional work outside these hours may be required.
