Job Description

The Ramada Resort by Wyndham is seeking a suitable candidate to join the Front Office team. The
position is vacant for a Hotel Shuttle Driver.

Primarily responsible to greet and welcome all guest and relieve them of their luggage on arrival at
the airport. You will ensure that their travel to and from the airport and hotel is safe and is with the highest standards of hospitality and welcome that is demonstrated at all times, and that all guest requests are dealt with in a prompt and courteous manner.

In addition to assist guests with luggage and shuttle service, Shuttle driver is also responsible to drive company vehicles for company business as well as dealing with general enquiries and ensuring the lobby, driveway areas and shuttle bus are always clean and tidy.

DRIVER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Is responsible for safe transfer of Hotel guests to and from the airport.
• Meet and Greet guest upon arrival at the airport
• Maintain knowledge of flight timings and assists guest in handling and loading baggage
  whenever required.
• Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and is well-groomed and well-dressed at all times.
• Keep abreast of activities in town, which may affect driving times or routes and relay this to
  management.
• Is responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the shuttle bus used for transfer and assist with maintaining vehicles to hotel presentation standards.
• Maintain good knowledge of the city routes, locations and hotel facilities.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the management

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Driver’s license
• Valid PVLTA Diver’s Permit
• 2 years or more experience in a Hotel or transfer company
• Be able to speak English and or French
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Be able to work varied shifts, weekdays, weekends and holidays
