What is the job?
We are looking for passionate people who are charming, confident and internationally minded being our next Serenaders at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa.
A little taste of your day-today:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager, every day is different, but you’ll mostly:
- Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival with our ‘bula’ spirited songs.
- Maintain the entrance and main door area clean and tidy, free of obstacles and ensue that traffic through the driveway is controlled.
- Assist the Doorman and Porters when required.
- Knowledgeable in assisting guests in requests for transport and other information.
- Knowledgeable of the events of the day and of daily Hotel activities.
- Knowledgeable of VIP guests and whenever possible, portray our Signature Service Style In Your Name at all times.
- Ensure that every guest departs from the Hotel with a smile on their face by parting them with our hotel’s unique signature service style.
- Offer directions and information about the hotel’s amenities and local attractions.
- Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities and maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues.
What we need from you:
- Fluent in spoken English required, other languages preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in the same field.
- Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
- Conversant with emergency evacuation and fire procedures.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Perform other duties as requested by Management.
- Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
