Your day-to-day

 We’re looking for an enthusiastic Rooms Manager to join our Holiday Inn Suva operations team. Directly responsible for Housekeeping and Front Office operations, reporting directly to the Hotel Service Manager, the role will be;

  •   Lead Housekeeping and Front Office teams to ensure that they operate in compliance with the brand standards and coordinating department logistics, overall support delivery of consistent customer services, catching moments with your team and peers to have great development conversations aligned to driving accountability to hotel goals and metrics.
  • Responsible for coordinating and delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring the highest standards in service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction while adhering to brand standards.
  • Connect with our guests/colleagues so that our ways of working are uniquely demonstrated in our service behaviors of True Hospitality, by delivering authentic, memorable experiences for our guests while supporting and developing the team to drive results.
  • Maintain a high-performance standard among both the heart of house and guest-contact employees to ensure they are knowledgeable, meticulous, perceptive, and curious at all times.
  • Create a team who are highly customer focused whilst proactively driving and maximizing loyalty, revenue, and upselling programs.

What we need from you

 We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who is willing to learn and build an extraordinary career within a global company.

The ideal candidate must have:

  •  At least three years of hotel experience in a management capacity, specifically within Front Office and Housekeeping, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience in coaching and development a team, recruitment and performance management.
  • Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with guests and team members.
  • Exceptional service standards and ability to lead, work and prioritize workload in a fast-paced, mainstream to high end, VIP environment.
  • Strong organizational, written & communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • A team player, proactive, responsible, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
  • Qualifications in Hotel Management and/or related field would be advantageous
