Repair & Warranty Administrator
The Repair & Warranty Administrator role is to be responsible for the management, planning and coordination for shipment, repair and return and warranty claims for all aircraft rotable and repairable components, service bulletins and aircraft structural repairs.
This role reports to the Manager Aircraft Materials & Logistics.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Receives and reviews export proforma for all shipment and ensures accuracy of information before sending for airway bill execution.
- Follows up with nominated freight agents at outer stations to ensure that all shipments for repair and warranty assessment are promptly cleared and delivered at the MRO facility.
- Raises all repair & warranty technical directions and order requests.
- Collates performance data to support warranty claims action against service bulletins, airworthiness directives, aircraft component repairs, and/or general product reliability.
- Carries out vendor assessment with Quality Assurance Materials Inspector and Manager Technical Materials to implement improvements in repair process.
- Administers all Warranty & FOC purchase of spares provided by Vendors under Warranty for all applicable aircrafts in coordination with the Materials Planning Officers.
- Ensures that Company's process and procedures are complied with when raising repair orders, approving repair quotations, managing warranty considerations, and shipping components.
- Ensures compliance with Safety/Security and Dangerous Goods Handling procedure as specified by component manufacturer.
- Participates in weekly aircraft maintenance production meetings to enhance support for future planned maintenance and defect rectification.
- Assist is daily monitoring of loans by liaising with engineering planning and aircraft maintenance to minimize loan costs.
- Ensures continued access to credit by efficiently arranging approval of accounts and ensuring payments of approved repairs within agreed terms.
- Provides coverage for Quality Assurance Materials Inspector and Materials Planning Officers as required by the Technical Materials Coordinator - Warehouse during their absence.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by the Manager Aircraft Materials & Logistics.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Business / Finance.
- At least 2 years' experience in Logistics and Warehouse Environment
- Dangerous Goods Certification Approval will be an advantage.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Knowledge of MS Office applications and previous experience in using inventory management ERP systems.
