We are looking for a quick, diligent, and highly detail-oriented bookkeeper who listens carefully, follows structured procedures, and works efficiently with minimal oversight. This is a semi flexible, remote independent contractor position, starting part-time and increasing to 30 hours per week full-time once fully trained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping in Xero (MYOB may also apply) – Data entry, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reports.
  • Following set processes accurately – Precision is key.
  • Handling client inquiries professionally – Good written communication.
  • Transaction categorization & compliance checks – Ensure accuracy in all records.
  • Adhering to workflows and instructions from the director.

Who You Are:

  • Great at listening and following structured instructions.
  • Reliable and consistent – seeking long-term, stable work.
  • Experienced in bookkeeping/accounting.
  • Ideally, you have an accounting degree or formal qualification, but we will prioritize the right fit over credentials.
  • Ideally Xero Certified.
  • Fast, focused, and able to work independently.
  • Highly detail-oriented and accurate.
