We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate individual for the role of Quality - INTERN.
This role is responsible for ensuring that the highest standards in quality of tobacco/cigarette are
maintained as per the protocols defined in BAT Global Quality Management System and undertake
product audits in the Manufacturing Division, and report on overall quality performance. Reporting
directly to the Quality Team Leader, the role will require the following key accountabilities and

Key accountabilities:
- Carry out data entry into the application systems maintained in the Laboratory, compilation and
submission of respective reports to relevant stakeholders.
- Carry out daily quality checks and inspections around the floor as required by the department
- Ensure that Pest and Hygiene Management monitoring and reporting is carried out daily.
- Monitor quality progress in Manufacturing and report results daily, collaborate closely with the
Production Lead on all internal quality problems.
- Maintenance and communication of product specification changes to floor.
- Driving processes controls to ensure integrity of our products are always maintained.
- Ensure full compliance, at any point in time, to controls, processes and procedures required as part of the role.
- Shared responsibility with the Engineering & Utilities Executive, calibrate designated scales, gauges, and instruments in the Quality Department on specified intervals.
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure materials received are of the right quality standard.
- Consolidating reports and circulate to stakeholders in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Essential Attributes:
- Tertiary qualification in Quality, Diploma in Lab Technology, or equivalent Science fields from a
recognized tertiary institute.
- Effective communication skills.
- High level of analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Statistical process control.
- Innovative, self-motivated, flexible, and energetic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
