Purchasing Officer
The above position will be based in our Purchasing department located at Makoi, Nasinu and directly reports to our Purchasing Manager.

Key Responsibilities will include

• Evaluate internal purchasing requisitions submitted online
• Evaluate potential vendors and suppliers
• Request quotes and compare prices for maximum
• ROI
• Negotiate on pricing
• Process purchase orders
• Create and maintain good relationship with vendors and suppliers
• Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality
• Track incoming purchased items
• Update system on supplied items and handover invoices to Accounts payable department

Key Competency Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in accounting or procurement or administration
• At least 1 year of work experience
• Ability to work under minimum supervision Applicants having knowledge on "SAGE 300 ERP" will have an added advantage
