Credit Corporation Finance Limited is currently recruiting for the role of Project Officer.
The Project Officer will work closely with Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, time frames and budgets for set projects. This role is based at our Head Office in Port Moresby.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information, placing key deliverables into realistic timeframes.
- Liaise with project teams to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Assign tasks to internal teams and manage project schedules
- Assist with budget forecasting and planning
- Analyse risks and opportunities and monitor project progress, handling issues that may arise.
- Oversee project procurement management
- In collaboration with the Project Manager, eliminate any potential blockers and act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
Key requirements:
- Degree in business administration or related field
- PMP/PRINCE2 certification is desirable.
- Proven work experience as a Project Officer or similar role
- Experience in project management, from concept to delivery
- Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
- Organisational skills, including multi-tasking and time management
- Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
- Hands on experience with project management tools
- Excellent time management and strong communication skills,
- High levels of integrity and personal ethics.
