JOB DESCRIPTION & SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

 

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and passionate individual for the role of PRODUCTION LEAD. This role is responsible for highlighting and delivering Factory/Operations improvement activities enabling a more satisfying customer experience through efficient utilisation of resources. The role needs to work closely with many Local and Regional stakeholders in the business. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, the role will require the following key accountabilities and qualifications:

 

Key accountabilities:

  • Lead the Production Team to ensure delivery of production volume against production plans.
  • Create and Lead execution of improving results, in environment where continuous improvement and constructive challenges are valued at all levels within the organization.
  • Lead and set direction during Line meetings and ensure work process to deliver target results.
  • Ensure Safety & Quality are imbedded within operation and metrics are on track.
  • Manage the delivery of key strategic initiatives and/or projects within the required quality, time and budget constraints, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated in the process.
  • Provide coaching to team members on ongoing performance improvement.
  • Conduct daily consultative reviews with stakeholders and focus in building critical capabilities.
  • Stay informed about operational progress and execution status.
  • Participate in resolving non-conformance and complaints within desired timeframes.
  • Lead the production team to ensure compliance to BAT policies and standards.
  • Participate in monthly cleaning and stock count processes.

 

Qualifications and Essential Attributes:

  • Hold a degree in science, applied science, or engineering with minimum of 3-4 years of in-depth knowledge in fast-moving consumer goods.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with EHS management principles and Supply chain dynamics.
  • Preferably have experience in collaborating across diverse functions and managing multiple projects.
  • Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate practical proficiency in analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Showcase adept people management and coaching abilities to foster a high-performing team.
  • Excel in influencing others, including non-direct reports, and possess advanced influencing skills.
  • Display exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adeptness in multitasking.
  • SAP Knowledge is added advantage.
  • Demonstrate the capability to cultivate and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders across various cultures and organizational levels.
  • Understand facilities and site services within a manufacturing setting.
