We are seeking a self-motivated, energetic and dynamic individual looking for a long-term career growth opportunity to join our Procurement Team in the following position.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Planning and forecasting Seasonal Open to Buys;
- Selection of right product mix for the responsible category;
- Managing product development;
- Placing and tracking of Order with Local and Overseas suppliers;
- Liaison with suppliers for quality, pricing and shipment arrangement;
- Implementing correct pricing strategies to achieve Category Objectives;
- Monitoring inventory and stock distribution to stores;
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and explore opportunity to source new suppliers & products;
- Keeping track of market trends; and
- Support HOD Sports with all procurement related KPI's to achieve department goals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Commerce or at least 3 years of procurement related experience;
- Experience in Procurement and supply chain would be an added advantage;
- Good numeracy and negotiation skills;
- Ability to use proficiently MS Excel/ Google Sheets (intermediate level knowledge preferred); Be highly confident and self organized;
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills;
- Display high levels of integrity, self-discipline, commitment, energy and passion; and
- Attention to detail is a must with the ability to work resiliently under pressure to achieve high-level accuracy in deliverables in a timely manner.
