Goolma Ltd which operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort is seeking applications from a range of qualified and experienced professional candidates for a Plumber to be based at Paradise Cove Resort, Fiji's Premier Island Getaway.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, fixtures, and fittings across resort facilities, guest rooms, and staff quarters
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing faults promptly to minimize disruption to guest services
- Conduct routine inspections of water supply, drainage, and wastewater systems
- Support preventive maintenance schedules in line with resort engineering standards
- Ensure all work complies with relevant plumbing codes, health, and safety standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance callouts, including after-hours emergencies when required
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and maintenance logs
- Work collaboratively with the wider Maintenance team and other departments
Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Plumbing from a recognized tertiary institute
- Full Plumbing License (current and valid)
- Minimum 2–3 years' relevant work experience, preferably within a resort, hotel, or similar hospitality/commercial setting
- Willingness to be based on-site (island-based position) and work flexible hours
- Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices
- Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor/tropical island environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
