Qualifications and knowledge
You have experience in the hotel/restaurant industry.
Assertive personality, coupled with great interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
Adaptability, creativity, and working with fresh, local produce.
We are looking for someone who has a strong sense of customer service and a passion for
the transmission of knowledge to teams
Mastery of HACCP standards.
Island experience in a high-end resort-type establishment is a plus.
Ability to live in an isolated, island environment.
Tikehau is located 1 hour by plane from Tahiti.
Missions and objectives
Under the supervision of the Head Chef, coordinates, directs, and supervises the entire
pastry shop.
Missions:
- Plans and creatively prepares pastries and desserts on the menu.
- Ensures the good quality of the products, creates the menus, and supervises the pastry team.
- Prepares and has prepared delicious desserts and pastries.
- Respects and enforces all HACCP hygiene rules.
- Ensures that reasonable deadlines desired by the client are respected and enforced in
the preparation of desserts and pastries, while respecting the hygiene standards required by
the law, and ensuring the quality/price ratio
