Manager Engineering & Maintenance - Turboprop Operations
The Manager of Engineering & Maintenance - Turboprop Operations (MEMTO) will provide strategic oversight of all maintenance activities, working closely with the contracted ANR145C Maintenance Organization to ensure timely execution in accordance with the highest approved standards.
This role is critical in maintaining compliance with Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji Islands (CAAF) regulations and the CAAF 001 Certificate Approval while efficiently managing allocated budgets and resources. The MEMTO will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring the integrity of maintenance operations within the organization.

Ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulatory, safety, and company standards.

Oversee and coordinate contracted ANR145C maintenance activities for Fiji Link.

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and ensure records are securely stored for the statutory period.

Develop strategic and operational plans to enhance flight allocation, maintenance, and overhaul capabilities.

Implement processes, policies, and procedures to drive operational excellence in Maintenance Management and Operations.

Prepare and manage Engineering & Maintenance budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Establish and administer an integrated quality management system that meets AOC regulatory and IOSA requirements, including document control and audit programs for compliance monitoring.

Implement a system for integrated monitoring, reviews, and corrective/preventive actions to identify root causes and initiate necessary improvements.

Foster a safety-first culture within maintenance operations, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards.

Collaborate with FJ Engineering on projects approved by the Senior Manager Operations Integrity & Engineering (SMOIE) to enhance Fiji Link's operational efficiency.

Conduct audits and continuous monitoring of engineering and maintenance service providers to uphold compliance and quality standards.

Work closely with FJ Engineering & Maintenance to develop the annual budget for Fiji Link.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

University qualification in Aeronautics, Engineering, Technology, or a Type Rated Licensed Engineer or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Engineering and Maintenance environment.

Strong financial acumen and expertise in budgeting and financial management within a maintenance context.

In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in aircraft maintenance.

Must possess good inter-personal skills to be able to establish a good rapport with key internal and external customers, to ensure corporate targets are achieved.
