Manager Cabin Crew Services

We're excited to announce a vacancy in our Flight Operations Division for Manager Cabin Crew Services.

This role is based in Port Moresby and reports directly to the GMFO. The Manager Cabin Services is responsible for the day to day operational management of operational safety, compliance and resources aspects as defined within this section regarding cabin services.

Specific Responsibilities include:

• Liaise with all internal and external departments in relations to cabin services
• Ensure cabin crew duties are conducted in accordance with applicable aircraft operating manuals and in line with commercial passenger service requirements
• Delegated via the HOTC and GMFO monitoring and development of operational standards within the cabin services department.
• Performance manages all personnel assigned to the department to ensure departmental performance indicators can be maintained.
• Ensure that cabin operations are conducted in a safe manner and in compliance with the CA Act, the CA Rules and the company exposition to ensure the company’s best interests are maintained.
• Manage the company requirements of the consumables used in the delivery of cabin services, includes catering and customer convenience items within an approved budget.
• Continually improving the efficacy and quality of cabin crew documentation and training programmes.
• Supporting recruitment, training and induction of new and existing crew when required and ensuring succession planning is in place amongst teams.
• To oversee Crew Rosters efficiently meet operational requirements with respect to PNG Air’s schedule

To be considered, you must have the relevant qualifications with previous experience in a similar role including having the following key attributes:

• Responsible for the management of all cabin crews
• Relevant qualification (desirable but not relevant)
• Managerial experience
• Extensive experience in the aviation industry in a Cabin Crew position.
