Likuliku Lagoon Resort is a boutique, luxury escape for couples located in the Mamanuca group of islands, featuring 45 bures, including the first over water accommodation in Fiji, a signature restaurant, private function room, two bars, boutique, spa and gymnasium.

We are now seeking suitably qualified industry professional for the below positions with outstanding knowledge and expertise in five star product delivery to join our dynamic team.

 

Maintenance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled management professional to oversee the Maintenance department.  Reporting directly to the Group Chief Engineer, the position requires a strong hands-on approach and is ideally suited to trade qualified candidates currently in a Maintenance Manager position within a 4-5 star Hotel/Resort environment. The successful candidate will ideally possess the following attributes and skills:

 

Knowledge, skills and Ability:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a management role with relevant qualifications and a proven track record
  • Strong knowledge of building management systems and implementing preventative management programs
  • Ability to plan and follow through on projects
  • Skills in electrical, mechanical and general building knowledge
  • Experience with desalination plants, diesel generators, bio-cycle or tertiary stage sewage treatment systems and swimming pools
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage large teams
  • Strong administrative and financial skills
  • Maintaining accurate records, setting staff rosters, adhering to Budgets, purchasing and accruals
  • Marine and outboard engine knowledge
  • Group 2 driver license essential

 

Maintenance Supervisor

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Computer literate with excellent skills in MS word, Excel and email programs
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Possess proven leadership and management skills such as delegation, disciplining, rostering, planning and organization of maintenance team
  • Trade qualifications an advantage
  • Sewage treatment plant and desalination plant experience essential
  • Strong knowledge of Power Generation systems
  • Understanding of OHS and Environment regulations and procedures
