Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Air-Conditioning and Electrical Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC systems and electrical installations. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance, safety, and energy efficiency of all air-conditioning and electrical systems within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair air-conditioning systems, including split units, central systems, and ventilation equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, wiring, and fixtures.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC and electrical systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with other technicians and contractors as needed.
Recommend improvements for energy efficiency and system upgrades.
Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications:
Certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or related field.
Proven experience in HVAC and electrical maintenance (minimum 1–3 years preferred).
Valid trade license or certification (if applicable).
Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or at heights.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with building management systems (BMS).
Knowledge of energy-efficient technologies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
On-site work in commercial, industrial, or residential buildings.
May require working outside normal hours for emergency repairs.
Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and electrical hazards.
