i-Finance PNG Limited is currently seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in ensuring that our clients receive the financial support they need to achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, authorize, and recommend approval of loan applications for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct detailed financial assessments to determine the feasibility of granting loans.
- Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options available, as well as the terms of those services.
- Meet with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and answer questions about the process.
- Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.
- Review and update credit and loan files.
- Approve loans within specified limits, and refer loan applications outside those limits to management for approval.
- Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a loan officer or a similar role in a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in relevant banking software and MS Office.
- Must have a keen eye for detail and be comfortable dealing with numbers and financial data.
