Background: 

A Lecturer is qualified to Masters’ level and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level programmes. A Lecturer is research-active and is beginning to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals. A Lecturer is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.

Person Specification: 

Essential

• Masters in CS/IS plus Post Graduate in CS/IS plus Bachelors in CS/IS
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching/work experience
• Research-active: evidence of work published in peer-reviewed journals

Desirable

• Demonstrable evidence of quality teaching.
• Clear evidence of good teaching performance / research publications in Scopus / SCI journals.
• University Service (administration).
• Community Service (contributions to the wider profession).
• Academic Leadership & Collegiality.

Salary: FJD$49,174.00 plus 10% superannuation
