Key Responsibilities:

• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as directed
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock and supplies
• Remove rubbish and ensure waste is disposed of appropriately
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures
• Support the kitchen team to ensure efficient daily operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a kitchen, hospitality, or food service environment is an advantage but not essential
• Understanding of basic food hygiene and safety practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, hardworking, and willing to learn
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to work in a remote island environment
