Your day to day

As Kitchen Attendant, you'll have the ability to provide innovative, authentic and enriching culinary experiences to our guests. Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Cleaning and sterilizing countertops, walls, stoves, ovens, grills, sinks and cooking equipment.
  • Serve and help prep for our colleagues’ meals.
  • Receiving and organizing deliveries to the Kitchen.
  • Supporting the Chefs and other Kitchen colleagues in basic food preparation, cutting, peeling and washing.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene of all food & beverage outlets and the carrying out of set food handling duties when required.
  • Adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies & procedures.
  • Mise-en-place and food preparation.
  • Assist with the receiving and storage of goods.
  • Maintain hygienic standards and practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

What we need from you

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team members who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations & provide a high-level of service excellence to our resort guests. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the Resort, the brand and the Company.
  • Diploma/Vocational certificate in Culinary Skills or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year related experience in full service restaurants/ local or international hotels in high volume kitchen.
  • Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Oral and written fluency in English.
  • Able to multi-tasks and ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft word (optional).
  • Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
