Location: Mana Island Resort & Spa, Fiji
Mana Island Resort & Spa is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic IT Support Staff member to join our Information & Communications Technology (ICT) team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for networking, systems support, and emerging technologies to grow within a dynamic resort environment.
1. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day IT support for staff and systems across the resort.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches.
- Support and monitor firewalls and network security systems.
- Perform Wi-Fi configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization across guest and staff areas.
- Provide basic technical support for hospitality systems such as Opera PMS, Simphony POS, and Materials Control.
- Assist in system updates, hardware maintenance, and ICT documentation.
- Collaborate with the ICT team to support network upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma or Certificate in Information Technology, Networking, or related field.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, firewalls, and switching (Layer 2 & Layer 3).
- Basic understanding of Opera PMS, Simphony POS, and Materials Control (training will be rovided).
- Strong network troubleshooting and Wi-Fi management
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Eager to learn and expand knowledge in Wi-Fi 6 technologies and Cybersecurity.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced resort environment.
