Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Officer based in Kokopo to provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, copiers, and other IT systems. This role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, resolving technical issues, and maintaining network, hardware, and software efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Desktop & Laptop Support – Diagnose and resolve issues with operating systems, software, and hardware.
Copier & Printer Maintenance – Provide troubleshooting and routine servicing for office automation devices.
Hardware & Peripheral Setup – Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including workstations, monitors, and accessories.
Software & System Updates – Ensure applications, OS updates, and security patches are properly deployed.
Cybersecurity & Data Protection – Support security implementations, ensuring compliance with IT policies.
User Support & IT Training – Assist employees with system inquiries, providing guidance on best practices.
Incident Documentation & Reporting – Maintain records of technical issues, resolutions, and recommendations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
2-3+ years of experience in IT support, system administration, or technical troubleshooting.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops, copiers, and office equipment.
