The Development Bank of Solomon Islands (DBSI) was established in June 2019 to provide development finances for the improvement of economic and social livelihoods of the people of Solomons Islands in a sustainable manner.

The Board is the governing body of the Bank responsible for ensuring that the powers and function of the bank are exercised in an efficient and effective manner in accordance with the DBSI Act of 2018 and other relevant Legislations.

In line with Part 3 Section 11 (3) of the DBSI Act 12 of 2018, the Bank invites applications for membership of the Board of the Bank on an initial three-year term. A diverse composition of high level integrity of skills and experiences would set the model for growth in the right direction.
If you are interested in the development and directing this young financial institution and feel that you have the passion and the experience to contribute to this noble course, please send your application to the Bank with an updated “CV”, clearly stating:

(i) Level of formal education.
(ii) Field of expertise and level of experience in that field.
(iii) Description of any knowledge of, and, or practical experience in credit, lending, risk management, business operations, banking, economics, and finance.
