What is the job?

The ISC Agent is primarily responsible for assisting all our guests request, responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests throughout their stay.

Your day to day

  • Process all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously, logging as doing so
  • Records and controls accurately wake up calls
  • Page / Mobile Phones guests in co-operation with concerned departments
  • Assists guests with international calls and directory queries
  • Understand the call tariffs and can effectively communicate to guests
  • Calls guests by name whenever possible
  • Pages staff members when requested
  • Abides by principles of guest and data privacy
  • Log all lost property accurately and maintain proper records
  • Report on logbook daily
  • Aware of local telephone listings and frequently dialed numbers, updates in Opera PMS periodically
  • Strictly abides by standards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency such as fire, bomb scare and other critical situations
  • Advises defects on switchboard equipment to Supervisor
  • Maintains a clean work environment
  • Attends to all guest queries and requests promptly
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of the Hotel’s fire, life and safety system
  • Maintains detailed knowledge on the Emergency Response Team and workings of the telephone room in this regard
  • Maintain Hotel Information
  • Responsible for entering accurate room status into computer daily and investigate discrepancies
  • Check rosters and make sure proper manning for following day
  • Follow up with all arrival rooms to be released and update system as required
  • Print List of Following days arrivals to be prioritized and released and follow up with supervisors.
  • Track Inventory Items cots x beds etc.
  • Enters ESCAP items into the system and follows up accordingly with Engineering and the guest or department effected.
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Loyalty program and how we recognize in the Resort.
What we need from you
  • Fluent in both spoken & written English required.
  • Strong understanding of the HUBOS & OPERA system
  • Communication skills – guests and colleagues will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to.
  • Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and computers.
  • Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job
  • You’ll have a Hospitality and/or Tourism Diploma or qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Management.
