HR Officer
Pacific Reinsurance Ltd (Pacific Re) is the Pacific Region’s only reinsurance company with cedants across the Pacific including but not limited to Papua New Guinea, Kiribati, Fiji, Samoa, Tonga and the Solomon Islands. An opportunity now exists in the role of HR Officer
Reporting to the Administration Team Leader, the HR Officer (HRO) will assume the role of managing every aspect of the employment process, including orientation, training new staff working, performance monitoring, pay roll and developing HR policies in line with the MVIL group. Job Requirements:
The successful applicant must have;

A Degree in Human Resources Management.

Proven experience as a HR Officer or HR Administrator.

Knowledge of various HR functions, including pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development.

Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS (Human Resources Management Systems) will be a plus.

Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem solving and decision-making aptitude.

Strong ethic and reliability.

A very high level of computer literacy and competency.

A very good command of written and spoken English.

A team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
