Summary of Duties

The Assistant Lecturer in Agriculture Extension will assist in teaching, research, and extension services focused on agricultural practices, farmer education, and community development. This role involves supporting senior faculty staff in curriculum development, engaging in research projects, and aiding in the delivery of extension programs.

Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
A Master's degree or Postgraduate Degree in Agriculture or a relevant field with evidence of teaching and industry work experience.

Desirable Attributes
Experience:

• Some teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
• Research experience in agriculture extension or a related area.
• Experience in extension services or working with farming communities is desirable.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and extension methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with colleagues.

This is a full-time position with a contract term of five years, renewable based on performance and mutual agreement.
