Based at the Crowne Plaza Fiji Nadi Bay Resort & Spa, as a full time Guest Relations Manager, you will be one of the key brand custodians for the hotel. You will be capable of delivering a truly personal service to leave our guests satisfied every single time they stay with us.

A little taste of your day-today:

Every day is different, but you'll mostly:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for VIP & IHG Rewards guests and ensuring hotel departments are fully briefed on their requirements.
  • Seek verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis and responding to all guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Keep close contact with guests for feedback, complaints and compliments - and following it up.
  • Have authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns.
  • Keep other operational departments in the loop with important guest relations matters - from Food & Beverage and Maintenance to Housekeeping and Front Office.
  • Lead the way - managing guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations.
  • Ensure front line team members comply with FIT Marketing techniques, maximize sales and upsell while promoting inhouse-hotel sales and in-house facilities.
  • Support and assist Front Office team and all departments during peak hours (greeting, rooming and sending off VIP guests).
  • Assist superior in all team member related matters (staffing, recruiting, training, discipline, communication).
  • Ensure all procedures are conducted safety and according to polies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Be aware of duty of care, adhere to occupational, health & safety regulations, policies & procedures.
What we need from you:
  • Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management.
  • 2 years’ guest service with supervisory/managerial experience in a 5-star resort setting OR combination of a minimum of Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism Management and 5 years’ managerial experience in a 5-star resort setting.
  • Must be fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills.
  • Working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera beneficial.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
