ABOUT THE ROLE

Take the helm of the marketing function for a prestigious conglomerate with interests spanning multiple industries. We are seeking a seasoned marketing leader to craft and execute impactful strategies across the group. In this strategic role, you will collaborate with senior leaders to drive growth and uphold our tradition of excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for all companies, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Campaign Management: Oversee and drive multiple marketing campaigns, including trade and standard initiatives.
• Agency & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with external agencies and engage with business managers to ensure effective strategy execution.
• Team & Budget Management: Lead a team of four marketing professionals, manage substantial budgets, and report to the Board/CEO.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 15 years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a conglomerate, overseeing diverse industries including retail, transport, and manufacturing.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, operational management, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Experience in the PNG market is an advantage, particularly in navigating local challenges.
• Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
