Graduate Trainee - Revenue Management
Fiji Airways is looking to recruit a passionate individual to fill the role of Graduate Trainee - Revenue Management.
Reporting to the Manager Pricing, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for optimizing revenue for our organization. You will be responsible for doing competitor watch and helping team to make informed decisions to help drive group sales revenue through efficient management of group policies and processes. The role will provide hands-on experience, exposure to industry best practices, and the opportunity to contribute to our revenue optimization strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse historical data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify revenue optimization opportunities. Monitor and report actual segment class demand movements and identify requirements for adjustment of demand forecast.
- Assist in the development and execution of pricing strategies to maximize revenue. Monitor competitor availability/pricing against our own and initiate and recommend pricing actions as necessary or adjustment of inventory setup.
- Monitor and manage inventory to ensure optimal pricing and seat availability.
- Utilize demand forecasting models to predict future demand and recommend for pricing adjustment and inventory allocation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Digital, Marketing, and Operations to align revenue management strategies with overall business goals.
- Identify, review and recommend and revenue management and pricing initiatives that will drive incremental revenue.
- Contribute to departmental projects, regular and ad hoc report generation on a timely basis and/or as required.
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and mentorship to develop a deep understanding of revenue management concepts and practices.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Information System, Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline and have recently graduated OR awaiting graduation from a recognized university
- Must have intermediate level of knowledge to use Microsoft Applications.
- Intermediate level of analytical skill is required. a
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Should be in a position to learn and adapt quickly.
- Good organization and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on own initiative and the energy, drive and commitment to deliver results to timelines.
- Possess interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels within the organisation.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and autonomously manage workload.
