GENERAL MANAGER – MARINE OPERATIONS

The South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s leading marine tourism operator offering a wide range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. Brands operated include South Sea Cruises, Blue Lagoon Cruises, Malamala Beach Club, South Sea Sailing, South Sea Island and recently announced South Sea Cats.

Reporting to the COO, we are currently seeking an experienced, and qualified General Manager – Marine Operations to lead our marine crew and vessel-based assets across SSCG. The successful applicant will continue to deliver the high standards of operational performance, compliance, and reliability of which SSCG is known for and which are customers and trade partners expect. The successful applicant will be highly skilled and/or experienced marine operations and compliance and have an outstanding understanding of requirements to operate these aspects within Fiji, and within a dynamic company such as SSCG.

The successful applicant must be able to handle multiple logistical challenges in a single day, work under pressure, solve a wide range of problems, and always have a high level of focus on both safety and compliance as well as overall service levels and operational performance. The successful applicant must be willing and able to lead and develop a large and varied operations team which operates 365 days of the year.

This a senior management position within SSCG, and therefore an attractive remuneration and benefit package is on offer for the successful applicant. The position is based at Port Denarau, Fiji with limited travel required within the Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. Some weekend work and/or being on call is required.
