Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

In this role you will help our Accounts Team in day-to-day tasks, month-end closing, year-end closing and other areas as applicable. The role is to maintain and uphold the wheel of the Department as provided below (Financial Returns, Our People, Guest Experience, and Responsible Business)

Your day to day

We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who know how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. Ideally you will:

  • Provide support with other designations in the Finance Department.
  • Assist in the end of Month closing and Reporting
  • End of Year closing and Reporting
  • Responsible for Any other tasks designated by the Finance Manager or the Payroll Specialist & Accountant.
What we need from you

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in a commerce related field of study.
  • Experience in Opera.
  • Have a year of experience in hotel accounting or operations, or a combination of both
  • Be competent in both written and oral communication in English
  • Be proficient with computer systems and MS Office
  • Commitment to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Outgoing and people oriented.
  • Able to multi-task and ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Look smart – wear your uniform with pride.
