Your day to day

The Front Office Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and guest service. This position oversees the front office team, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient check in/check out procedures, and adherence to hotel policies and standards.

  • Supervise front desk operations to ensure efficient guest check-in and check-out.
  •  Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction by providing exceptional service.
  • Assist in managing room allocations and ensuring accurate reservations.
  • Monitor lobby areas to maintain cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Lead and mentor the front office team, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct training for front desk agents on hotel policies, systems, and service standards.
  • Ensure proper grooming and professional conduct among front office staff.
  • Assist in scheduling and shift planning to ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Assist in managing room rates, billing, and payment procedures.
  • Oversee cashiering and ensure accurate handling of guest accounts.
  • Promote hotel services and upsell rooms, F&B, and other amenities.
  • Ensure adherence to hotel policies, brand standards, and safety regulations.
  • Handle emergency situations and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, guest feedback, and front office performance.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for seamless operations.

What we need from you

  •  Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in front office operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS) and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
