The Barman is responsible for preparing and serving drinks to patrons, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service. This role includes managing bar inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and following food and beverage regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drink Preparation and Service

•  Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, using correct recipes and presentation standards.
• Serve drinks and snacks in a timely and courteous manner.
• Assist customers in selecting drinks and provide recommendations as needed.

2.      Customer Service

• Engage with customers, taking orders and providing a positive, friendly experience.
• Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar area.

3.      Inventory Management

• Track and manage stock levels; assist with inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow proper storage, rotation, and labeling practices to maintain product quality.

4.      Cash Handling and Point of Sale (POS) Operation

• Accurately handle cash, credit, or debit card transactions.
• Follow procedures for opening and closing the register.

5.      Health and Safety Compliance

•  Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards for food and beverage preparation.
• Ensure the bar area meets sanitation and cleanliness guidelines.
• Monitor responsible service of alcohol policies.

6.      Bar Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize the bar area, glassware, and utensils regularly.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of bar equipment.

What we need from you

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Diploma or equivalent preferred. Bartending certification is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of popular cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Ability to handle multiple orders and work under pressure.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Attentive to detail and able to follow recipes accurately.
• Professional, presentable appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
