Job Description

We are looking for a confident and honest team player with positive attitude, willing to join our high standard, customer focused team working in a fast-paced environment.

The Fleet Assistant (mechanical) has the important role to help ensure customer service is not diminished by making sure vehicles are proactively checked, serviced, and maintained to minimise unscheduled downtime and safety.

Mechanical knowledge / experience essential

• Diagnose basic mechanical matters to communicate with the fleet team and garage for maintenance.
• Support, check, and review garage repairs.
• Conduct and support customer service team with review of fleet vehicles upon issue and return as per mechanical checklist.
• Proactively diagnose, initiate, and conduct preventative and routine basic maintenance under the guidance of management.
• Self-motivated, ability to work unsupervised.
• Advantage – Current driver’s license with a clean record.

The Fulltime position will be a five-and-a-half-day week ‘rotating’ roster including weekends/public holidays.
