Summary of Duties
The Farm Hand (Animals) is responsible for assisting with the daily care and management of livestock and other farm animals. This role includes feeding, watering, cleaning, and monitoring the health of animals to ensure their well-being and productivity. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
A Diploma in tropical agriculture with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience at a reputable institution and/or organization or farm setting.
Essential to the position:
Experience:
Previous experience in farming or agricultural work related to animal husbandry.
Experience in operating farm machinery/equipment relevant to animal husbandry.
Skills:
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Ability to perform physical labour in various weather conditions.
Basic understanding of animal husbandry and farm operations.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

This is a full-time position with a contract term of five years, renewable based on performance and mutual agreement.
